Meet Lohe & Benno – The Tuxedo Brothers of Mayhem, Mystery & Meows

Lohe and Benno are two bonded tuxedo brothers with big eyes, big personalities, and even bigger zoomies. Their journey began in a quiet cat shelter near the Estonian-Latvian border, where they waited patiently for nearly two years for a home of their own.

Rescued together and most likely littermates, they spent their early days watching countless humans come and go. But none felt quite right—until the servant showed up.

After the servant’s beloved cat Basil passed away, the mysterious and powerful Cat Distribution System™ kicked into action. For six months straight, he kept seeing the same adoption ad — two tuxedo boys, still waiting. Eventually, he gave in to fate, drove nearly three hours to the shelter, and came back with Lohe and Benno.

They settled into their new home quickly in their own way: cautiously, curiously, and with plenty of floor-exploring sprints. Though still a little scared of being touched, they’re getting closer to the hoomin every day.

They now play with him, gently ask for interaction, follow him from room to room, and sometimes even dare to sit near him on the couch (with a very serious face). Every meow, stare, and slow blink is a tiny step in building trust — and every day, they step a little closer.

Guided by the spirit of Basil — who, according to whispered feline legend, still lurks proudly as an invisible mentor — Lohe and Benno are discovering what it means to truly be home.

Their days are filled with synchronized zoomies, strategic snack negotiations, dramatic hallway performances, and very serious late-night meetings about bird surveillance.

Now, as they prepare to move to a new apartment with their servant, they continue their mission of daily chaos, growing connection, and majestic nonsense — one paw step at a time.

Welcome to their world. You may never leave without fur on your clothes. 🐾
